GM Jdog. This must be a typo yeah? "Oracle price last updated: a year ago"
-
@jdogresorg
-
Not an error… Oracle wasn’t earning enough in fees to keep broadcasting prices.
-
Xchain platform has Oracle integrated into the platform so no need for individual oracles to broadcast price.
-
-
How's it going?

am getting signing transaction error. tried changing address back and forth and it didnt fix the issue
-
Make sure your on the latest version and try logging out of the wallet entirely, closing it, then opening and re-inputting your 12-word passphrase again n try again

I think I need to get the latest version on my phone. Do I have to go to github to do that? I keep getting error trying to sign send transaction
-
Oh yeah, the mobile version of free while it hasn’t been updated in a few years and the counterparty core developers decided to change the way that transactions are generated within counterparty and change them in such a way that they can no longer be signed by the mobile wallet…. They have the goal of stopping people from using freewallet and forcing users to use their wallet, and so then breaking transaction signing in freewallet mobile is one of the ways that they are trying to accomplish this task…. It is unfortunate but freewallet mobile version will no longer work to sign transactions until I get around to putting out an updated release, which won’t happen for a number of months as my focuses on building Xchain platform, an entirely new platform with more features and easier to use than counterparty
-
I have to update the desktop version right? I was getting the same type of message
-
-
-
Beware yet another fake J-Dog impersonator scammer making the rounds
-
-
For real… go create some AI generated NFT artwork, slap it on a token, put it in a dispenser and shill your goods… got more respect for people who do that than scammers who try to just prey on victims
-
You're saying I need to sign the unsigned and signed transaction part with that has my address? (source) lol Idk how it works
-
-
Only other thing is if I have a pending tx from before? I tried to see if that was the case but I'm not sure how to know. I checked the last send but not sure how to track it down and if I received the asset I bought
- 05 May 2025 (8 messages)
-
check your address with mempool.space and that should let you know if you have any pending txs.... either way, you should be able to sign a tx normally regardless of if you have a pending one or not 🙂
-
-
Just encountered him/her. Sends you a fake rarepepewallet.com link
-
-
I just sign it with whatever I want? Like my handle or something?
-
What you’re signing a transaction with is a signature that proves that you control the address that you’re trying to do transactions from
-
He doesn’t even like bacon
-
Alright. That's simple enough lol

Hello to everyone ! I’ve a problem while sending a rarepepe to emblem vault
-
when I try to send a rarepepe to emblem vault I get this error : error while trying to sign send transaction
-
Are you using free wallet, mobile, or free while the desktop? If you’re using free wallet, mobile it no longer works because the counterparty core Dave’s changed the transaction version number to 2 instead of 1….. so you will need to use free wallet desktop if you’re trying to sign transactions using the latest version of counterparty
-
I use a old desktop version tbh but never had issues till now 😁 should I upgrade to resolve the problem ?
-
Yeah, you should upgrade to the latest version of free wallet desktop…. I put out a new release about six months ago that handle signing version two transactions….. actually it decodes the version two transaction and translates it into a version. One transaction again basically undoing what the counterparty core devs forced on the community….
-
Thanks j-dog for the help .. What I need to be sure to have to don’t make errors? Just the 12 words , right ?
-
Yup just the 12 words…. Though you should be able to upgrade the wallet in place and not have to enter your 12 Word passphrase again…. But for sure you should have a backup of your 12 word passphrase, as well as as a backup of the private keys of any addresses that you have imported into free wallet, desktop
-
Thanks j-dog! Will try rn 🫡
-
Now everything is working
-
I didn’t even need to put newly the 12 words nor priv key
-
Thanks really much !

OOOoooo look at all the stars
-
Signing a message from an address in free wallet should be very very simple….. no reason not to🤷🏻♂️
-
Even more so after been told step by step
-
WTB 70XCP no good dispensers open rn
-
Hi jDog, yes I could do it, but he's very toxic and makes threats.
-
I told him I would do it in time and he said he had been very patient, but he says I'm not a scammer, but he's been doing spam on me, a lack of respect.
-
I think it’s just a misunderstanding, quickest way to clear things up is sign a message to prove address ownership n then no more words need to be said…. As the saying goes, don’t trust, verify.
In any case, I can see both sides… as a relatively new person in the community can seem harsh to be met with such criticism…. At the same time this community is pretty tight knit and goes out of its way to protect people within the community from scammers…
I make no judgments either way, and respectfully request that you two figure it out on your own…. Either by signing a message so there is no doubt that you control the address you say you do, or by stopping communication with one another…. No one really enjoys seeing public feuds like this. 👍🏻 -
Exactly. Well, I've been here since 2018, and at least you're a person who knows how to understand. I understand that there are many scammers, but he doesn't know how to deal with people. I'd be happy to verify it for you.
-
Probably the simplest way to do it would be to publicly broadcast a message from your address that says verifying ownership of address by LVS…. Then you can just link the transaction here or anywhere else that you wanna proove that you own the address.
-
Ok, I'll do it! Tell me the steps, JDog. 🙏🏻
-
Just go to free wallet, change to the address that you want to proove that you own and from the main menu choose broadcast message…. Then type something like “ address ownership verification by LVS” and then click broadcast…. Once the transaction is mined paste the link here.
-
Just to quickly comment, @Lvsdesigner is a good guy
-
Okay, I'll do it.
-
Is he the one behind the pepeye physical coins? Or that someone else? Got so many contacts n history with ppl here it’s tough to keep everyone straight
-
No he's not @L_vs_D
-
Got ya…. Thx for the clarification… love my coins from that guy
-
no
-
2 different guys - both legit AFAIK

-
I gladly passed on the verification message to you.
-
-
looks legit to me.... for what it is worth.
-
Seems you have managed to verify, strange how you wouldn't before within 3 weeks, guess you wanted me to call you out so that you could paint me out as a bad guy because I said there are rules in the auction house, but at least we now know
-
I think you have to have empathy to work with the public, especially in this medium of beautiful projects. In all my years, I've never had a problem with anyone, and I hope I never will.
-
I hope you delete your messages from the groups and retract them. Like a good man.
-
Thanks JDog for your help
-
Thank you all, I will ignore the poison, controversy and sarcasm. I will not continue wasting my energy on toxicity. Thank you all. 👍🏻
-
Well u better take a look at yourself to cleanse yourself as uve been pritty toxic yourself
