Take a similar approach as NFTs in my opinion.
Buy things that are rare/scarce and that you would be proud to own no matter what the market does.
When it comes to Whisky make sure you at least like the brand, because in the end it’ll at least hold its original value and at that point you might as well just drink as the ancillary prize.
One tip though, more expensive doesn’t mean a better long term investment.
A bottle that is $1k retail is unlikely to be $10k, but the right $150 bottle has good chance of being $1500.
I scooped a bunch of Japanese age-statement whiskies for $100-$150 years ago; they all sell for min $1k now.
Bottomline - if you don’t love whisky, invest in something else. -

That's a bummer. I'm sure mine's expired then. That seems strange though, that it would expire. I feel like I have a seed phrase written down somewhere for blockstack. I wouldn't think a key pair would expire.
