I love art music and tech. And this space was the combination of all those things that I lov and it reignited the artist that died in me a long long time ago.

And so I attempted to start making art again in the space and by 2023 i had failed 😣 very and very and over again.

Then I found this Bitcoin family and everything changed.

But 2023 was also the hardest year of my life. Too long to text.

So I used every spare second I had to try to make my dreams of becoming an artist as my career, making all my money that I lost back, getting the home we never got cause we were already pregnant

It’s too long to write and takes a long time to tell the complete story even in person.

Some of it is not even believable.

But long story short I had thought about giving up this dream many times and I swear on my wife and son that god performed miracles and show we me signs that told me to keep listen to his words and keep sewing my seeds and chasing this dream.

It took a toll on all my relationships as no one understood this world I was in. The only person who believed in me was my wife.

And that is the thing that is eating me up alive today.

I let the love of my life down. My fucking best friend. And it’s killing me. She truly is a god send and I would not be here today if god don’t put her into my life.

the sacrifices we made the past years for this dream is all over.

My family disowned me thanksgiving weekend and I got laid off from the family empire that I help built because I had my first kid in March of 2023 and by August all my childhood traumas came to the surface because I had became a father and I was doing what most people don’t dare to do. Which was to work through my trauma. I didn’t want to still be dealing with CTPSD before my son was old enough to understand.

Blinded sided by my own family. They didn’t believe anything I told them.

I knew everything we worked for was about to come to fruition because the halving was only 5 months away.

My wife was loosing faith. And I don’t blame her. But I kept experiencing miracles and she saw them too. And so I asked my wife to trust me. I told her there is no way god put us through all of this for nothing. I asked her to give me one last chance.

We had no choice. Took the shame of going back to live under her father’s roof with an 11 month old baby.

So I could focus on finishing my Fakers ordinal Collection. And not have to worry about renting and moving and everything else. While not having a job.

It was my last chance. I knew this could only be God. All the miracles though the toughest time of my life were real. And I knew I could nake my dreams as an artist really come true especially with the bull cycle coming I knew how to take profits and I was ready.

Knew ordinals were going to be the biggest thing since i learned what they were back in early 2023.

I knew this was my last chance and the timing was perfect.

I managed to get a nodemonke at about 7k floor price. And traded my way up to a free rare one and started collecting what became an extremely impressive ordinals portfolio.

We had struggles living with her parents. I got in a huge fight with her father because he didn’t understand wtf I was doing. He loves his daughter. I’d be the same way.

The level of stress on us was building .

Three weeks ago I told my wife our conviction is finally paying off and we had the best talk about all the bs we had gone though the years and that nothing will ever tear us apart cause we made it though all that crazy shit. I swear I had a filmmaker friend and we were very close to writing a pilot for a documentary of my life to propose for this huge grant because it’s just an unbelievable story.

Then what three days ago DF tells us to send SOL . I not stupid. I planned to send in $2500 I had around $600 in my phantom at the time and sent that to my ME wallet then sent the SOL from there just make case if get extra points for using their wallet.

It was the last day to send in SOL.

I got the rest and sent it in 2 hrs before cut off time.

Saw it said pending and so assumed I was good.

Come to find out after the cut off time that it never went though and was still pending. Coped hard.

Woke up and I was up a lot fro the six hundred. I saw the way this thing was running and proceeded to liquidate 90% of my ordinals taking loses onmany because I knew if I did that and stayed I front of the screen to make sure to sell if this is hung was gonna act like it was gonna tumble. I was not going to loose everything we sacrificed for.

By 9pm last night with me hour of sleep the night before I had 97k worth of $BOME

Showed my wife and we cried tears of joy.

I asked if she could help me keep an eye on the chart because I could not keep my eyes open. By around 5am it had turned into 140k and that was just the beginning of the parabolic run.

My wife and I were so happy thanking god and crying. I told her we were pulling out at 200-250k no matter what and we’d take some of that completely off the table for what we have been praying for to happen these last few months. And have a bough money to secure down payment on a house, have back up emergency funds 6 weeks already paid for.

I was going to mint the public orange omb and buy a floor nodemonke and not buy another ordinal til I finish what I started which was to secure this dream to be an artist in this space and time. So I wouldn’t have to be paying so much attention to stacking sats flipping ordinals and could just focus on art. I hate staring at charts. And also have enough to be able to keep doing this full time and never ever again have to be a slave to the system again.

We were so stoked. So fucking happy. But it didn’t last long at all.

I went back to stare at the chart. We were at the beginning of the parabolic run. And I thought it would be fun to find a space that was taking about BOME while I wait for my exit target.

Found a space. Saw a pfp of VSTRVL’s pfp and thought hell yeah the fam is in here we good. Fist thing I did was click the posted tweet of the space. It was a DF tweet. Which led me to the fake DF tweet said something about rewarding BOME holders. And boom drained.

Game over.

I’m still shaking and in shock. Trying to stay strong and not weep and scare my wife. But I can’t. I’m spiraling. I have no hoe left.

And then please don’t buy my art or send me money.

it’s over. I can’t put my wife through this again. No matter if it’s my fucking dream.

It’s fucking killing me. And I don’t know what to do. I bet they n myself. So did my wife. We got though so many incredibly hard things. It’s not easy when the whole world doesn’t understand what you are doing.

There’s so much more to this story. And I’m so disappointed in myself. I’ve never been scammed. And I triple check everything.

So to get rekt on my last attempt crossing the finish line the way I did.

And now our friends and family that we love will never understand and nothing will be set right.

And I’m having trouble keeping the dark clouds from moving in. I really don’t know what I m going to do.

Looking at all these wonderful pieces the only thing that missing for each is some kind of certificate of authenticity. For mainstream adoption. This needs to be considered in the future imho. Tying the assets to the tokens is also important. Each piece SHOULD come with the token as part of the asset. But not as a certificate FOR the asset. These little things is what will make this art scene have a bit more gravitas and credibility IMO.

Idk. Tbh, it probably won't be perfect, but if the framer can pull the canvas tight enough, it might be ok...wait and see I guess. I was a little devastated when it arrived. But not angry at basqkek. I know basqkek lives in Indonesia or somewhere like that. Probably not as easy for him to get high quality canvases or packing tubes etc. However.... if the artist wants the collector to feel like his art is worth a lot of money. Shipping it in a home made tube, that was clearly too small and tight. Makes the artwork and artist feel amateurish, and took away a LOT of value overall. I mean, the artist needs to take pride in his work, of you present it like its worthless. Then maybe it is?. If I was buying the piece from a gallery I would have been fuming at the way it was packaged and arrived. It was possibly the worst example I have had of poorly packaged art EVER. Hahaha. If basqkek had shipped the canvas gallery ready in a crate like this one. It would feel like a $5,000-$10,000 piece of art. However he shipped it in a homemade tube. A piece of cardboard he had cut and folded... not even a real poster tube. Lol. When it arrived it felt like the artwork was worth $100 or less. Simply because of the way it was packaged and the lack of care from the artist.

Drew a grid on the canvas and then free handed it, using the right brush and watering down the paint a bit helped

yeah i could just about make the grid out through the paint. (very faintly) then upon closer study of the piece, it looked as if it was free hand painted, not using a ruler or something to guide the brush... it's very very impressive upon studying the pieces mate. at a glance, one could easily mistake the piece for something stencilled or painted on using a guide for the lines. it takes IMMENSE skill to be able to free hand and paint it the way you did. congratulations mate... you fucking killed it with these two. i think if people had realised at the time how they were made, they might have fought me a bit harder for them.... absolute bargains!!! really well made... I WANT MOAR NOW! you have unleashed a monster hahaha..... sell me the Kekogs one from Avon!!
