Hello GM GE etc. I’ve had a couple of artists here asking me if I have stopped collecting Rare Doge cards. I haven’t. I picked up a few today which I found were at fair price. What is fair price one might ask. If u ask me, the fair price for each of your cards is 10000 dollars minimum. But for now I am going to assume the price at which I list my cards as the fair price. Also one might wonder why I have not bought a certain card when it was listed at the fair price, I’m missing Rejects from those artists whose cards I didn’t buy despite their Rares being at fair price. I’d expect Rejects to be thrown at me as a bonus when I am buying the Rares of the artist, but oka, I’d happy to pick the Rejects too, again at fair price. Now we have come full circle because the next question should be “What is the fair price for a Reject?” Brilliant question but I don’t know the answer. All I know is that I am not in the mood to reimburse an artist for 200 Doges submission fee when their card has landed in Rejects. If the card ended up in Rejects, be prepare to bear some pain. With this I have come to the end of my speech. Thank u for coming. Goodbye for now

The artist should also be serious about their collection and keep on building resources around it , for me to invest .

It's not about just a one time sale. People need to create value for the investors too

I have already learned and found, much to my delight, that buying a ‘collection’ from an artist with automatic ‘buy-in’ to the rest of their future collection without additional cost is a pretty large incentive for buying and gives a more intimate experience— if you believe the artist is serious about continuing to produce for a while and has a decent collection already made as examples.
Being able to break each NFT set into 100 or more pieces really makes the work versatile for sale because it enables you to own partial ownership in the work, depending on how the NFT is set up by the artist, and that allows everyone to be able to afford “the collection” while maybe only owning 1% of each supply for each work. -
It also allows a great distribution scheme for the artist in that you can raise the price for your ‘collection’ at any time, raising the floor for all new incoming supply to the general market.

Let me say this… and it might be controversial, but:
I believe that, once the artist has done enough work (subjective) and had enough ‘buy-ins’ (for example, 100 people that will automatically get the card), I would be totally okay with the artist inflating the minimum supply number to for all future cards, just so they have some to sell with each work.
How much the artist decides to inflate their work will directly impact the value to their community, so there will be pressure to be reasonable. -

Most of my cards are 100 supplies. I only plan to sell 15 full sets or so. Rest would then only be available through individual dispensers.
