Random question that may not even make sense: can transactions with metadata (ie - a description) that predate the earliest ‘nfts’ be acquired? Or even tracked?

Miners can write messages in the coinbase txn when they mine a block. If the receiving address for the block reward is an opendime (or emblem vault), you’ve effectively tokenized it in a way that’s tradeable. -

So the wETH is in a wallet that only they will have access to and then if wETH is ever offered in the future I would need to contact them with the transaction information for it to be credited. But, it’s totally dependent on whether they would list wETH as a supported asset or not. Could be years bro

i would imagine they would list it once their NFT marketplace gets off the ground. sort of is required for bidding/offers -

If I may ask, why would such an ambitious project that ran simultaneously across multiple network ecosystems be as naïve as to entrust the holdings to Coinbase instead of any of the numerous self-custody options prior to distribution?
A ledger HW is $59 on Amazon and could have held the multiple currencies this project was transacted in. -
