especially for video, imgur is not built for large videos, Ive seen multiple examples where the imgur gif file is a flat image that resolves jpeg when you download it. if you dont know how to arweave your friend does and friends dont let friends host on imgur.

Unlike something like widely adopted networks, token projects with small communities are vulnerable to disappear, especially during bear markets etc..

If you are an established artist I don’t think there is an excuse to not spend the small amount of pain to get you sorted on a good place with arweave or whatever your setup is (that is not lowest grade free, die anytime hosting) I think that’s the main point I’d advise arweave but you have control over almost anything more than you do with imgur - I’ve used imgur in the past too, but we have all come a long way so let’s get all up to speed
