Here’s a question…while not directly related to BTC…I think it still applies. While I have been stacking sats using DCA, bought a node…have it up and running (haven’t had a chance to set up channels yet, due to work travel), have worked to stack a decent amount of gold/silver, and still have my trash work retirement plan (can’t get out of it), a separate IRA gold/silver backed…I am thinking long term to increase my cash flow to not rely fully on work salary. I will be coming into a decent lump sum in the near future. While I could just throw it all to BTC, I’m not sure that’s the best move…I know I know BTC is everything. But I’ve been thinking about acquiring a rental property to help supplement salary and provide more opportunities to stack BTC…or am I dumb and just look at stacking more of what current investments I have 🤷♂️ -
I think (not an "expert") that before the global economy takes off thanks to bitcoin, everything will grind down to a screeching halt. Everything that is not crucial will get wiped out, and everything crucial will suffer. My personal strategy is to stay away from any traditional form of investment right now (buying realestate to rent out, starting a business, etc). My instinct is to regroup and consolidate, to make my castle as rezilient as possible for the coming change.

Maybe interesting in theory.
I have doubts about scalability, Bitcoin works because it stores miniscule ammounts of data so any one can have a copy of the blockchain. Maybe this " blockweave harddrive" would work for storing non-private small bits of data that are resistant to censorship/deletion, I can't think of any other valid use.
Otherwise, this sounds to me too much like "cloud storage", a concept that I despise, and that is highly centralized. I need my data to be available offline, 24/7, at 3.5GB/s, with 0.1ms latency, and available to all the dozen scripting languages I use.
Anything that requires a browser or a special "app" to access, to me is dinosaur tech (although it's "new"), a typical example of evolving backwards. Bitcoin is excluded from this, because I can use it from command line, scripts :) -
