Shad frens. I just read through some ‘crypto’ and finance regulations, laws and guides already in place by a state government authority. I was skeptical at first. Started slow but picked up the pace. Once they got to ‘crypto’ topics you could tell they were impressively well read and researched. Regulations for custodial wallet providers but clear that there are none for non custodial. There is a section about layer two protocols and services with little to no regulations. It almost appears as though they are focusing of regulating exchange, reserves, custody and layer one only at this time. -

I have considered this as well. Here is what I concluded:
Originally, I figured it was better to stack sats than rare pepes. But once I had a decent stack of sats, I found there is more fun to be had in collecting rare pepes while still storing value through the transition from Fiat to BTC (not much else to do after I sold all my belongings to stack sats 😜).
Also, Pepe's are rare art where as BTC is a commodity, which makes many of the pepes more scarce. The question then becomes whether the relative demand for pepes will keep up with the relative demand for BTC as it becomes adopted globally.
Finally, pepe's are primarily traded in BTC (or XCP which was bought with BTC), so since they are already being valued in BTC terms, the price is less dependent on the current USD price of BTC than most other goods which are primarily paid for in USD. -
Everything is going to zero vs. Bitcoin. RAREPEPE is a 1 billion dollar piece of art. If 1 btc was worth 2.000001 billion, that's still closer to zero than 1
