I just searched "deep state" in this chat and went for a read through some earlier conversations... Must say I'm very impressed.
I now have a much clearer mental image of what's going on in the world, and on top of that have come to the conclusion that ETH is a bit of a shit coin...
It's all in the consensus mechanism...
Proof of Stake essentially meaning, proof that you're a big player will help you retain your big player status (similar to our current political systems).
Proof of Work, however, could be understood as, those who work will be rewarded, while those who sit back and rely on their capital to do the work for them, will lose their place on top.
Making bitcoin a much more fair and just store of value than any other pretender.
That said, I think there is a lot of culturally significant value building upon ETH, through NFTs. In the information age memes are currency, as with the xcp projects we have on btc, so I think it's hard to disregard ETH and the role it will play in building our better society.
So long as Pepe/art exists on both chains, both will have their place.
