Over on BBBS, @LongbranchBear made an intersting comment that Pepeproject is to BBBS as BBBS is to WTM after @FrancisBothwell said the @pappyG45 interview of Krellenstein stoked his interest in XCP.

That's a helluva statement given BBBS is the tip of the spear in so many ways.

I'm interested, I lurk here, and I've read a fair bit, including GMoney's writings on XCP/Pepes.

GMoney asked Krellenstein a few times in different ways about XCP and Tzero/Byrne, whether there was any progress on tokenization with XCP and the future stock market after the brief collaboration with Overstock. Taking Krellerstein at his word, I can't get myself to anything but a "NO".

So, I'll ask Pepeproject a question that's been buggin me, one that go zero response at BBBS. Maybe it's just a retarded question? Help a retard out if so.

Byrne says he patented the only viable (and SEC approved) way to tokenize assets. If true, what forces his use of XCP?

I do not see the use of XCP/counterparty described in any of TZero's patents or pending patent applications. They describe the use of distributed ledgers, generally, and mention various, including BTC. XCP should fall under this umbrella even though not mentioned.

But I see nothing that would force the use of XCP, let alone Pepes (for those who wouldn't be keeping them for historical reasons and be willing to sell them at an elevated price for the new stock market).

I keep reading, but I can't seem to 'get' the link between XCP (and Pepes specifically) and whomever spearheads tokenization versus some other ledger, including a (hypothetical, as far as I know) distributed ledger spearheaded by TZero.
