Dispensers obviously take away from xcp value so wondering if that’s part of their roadmap moving FW and why they are trying to move away from them in addition to that they can rip off folks occasionally. Here's my take and I speak for no one but myself. Dispensers may take away value from XCP, but I really think Counterparty is too small at this point to quibble with details. Priority #1 should be growing the userbase by at least 1000x. Don't even worry about XCP until the userbase is much, much larger. At that point, there will be many ways to grow the value of XCP. But in the meantime, user growth should be the only focus. Swaps are likely to use XCP to attach assets to UTXOs, so there should be some demand created there.

I think its a bit more nuanced than that, tbh. The gravy train had already ended. He squandered a huge amount of community funds having held through a bull market into a bear market, when he got liquidated. It was greed. He should have converted to stables as soon as he fundraised knowing there was a 4 year commitment attached to it... or not... but if you're gonna try and ride the rocket-ship on the way up, that's on you. Anyways, there's like a zero percent chance he could have raised again to that degree. I'm sure he's aware. The community is just not big enough to sustain that level of funding continuously. He got lucky the first time, as the fundraise was done in a bull market after a decade of goodwill had been built-up.
