For me it has been a good result, export from ae to .mov then compress the vid in rush, and then to photoshop.

sounds good, photoshop as final step really helps with the compression video programs will aim for highest quality and largets file size.

yeah usually with rush I get a 30mb down to a 3,7 or so, just sometimes it fucks up the pixel size for me

It depends on your components imo I still use an i7 8700 and a 1070 with 32 go ram. But since apple now has this M1 chip, I think the compatibility with newe Os is limited. As well later versions of OS X than high sierra only support Radeon cards imo. And some Adobe products are already out only for newer versions imo. Imo it’s pbly easier leaving it on windows, but I am stuck to OS X since ever but didn’t like the fact everything is soldered together in the newer macs. So I went hack
