Just to go further into this for everyone....
while we dont store the files, Your filesize is up to you, those files are generally streamed so it doesnt affect the end user as heavy as some other filetypes.
filesaize of your GIF: your gif should be of sensible size..... sometime its hard to escape quality deteriation, I would advise: exporting your mp4 to gif with a lower framerate and then resaving for web in photoshop or other program, if you have a loop make sure you only include the frames for a single loop
Aim for as low as possible, do your absolute best to get them under 10 meg (thats a big ole gif)
You won't have the option to upload large files to the enhanced.cards or fakeasf.club servers from here on in so you need to explore your options in regards to long term file storage - if you have the time and effort for it I would investigate arweave its what im using and it feels a good fit. -
