I bought one today. I like how they are manufactured in America/the west so China doesn’t have a stranglehold on all production. Also, even if it only mines 1000 Satoshis a day, if one holds until one sat equals one petrol dollar that’s not a bad deal.
Also, it can be used as a desktop computer with a browser. -
Love it. So, question, I should’ve looked into it more. As a miner I assume it needs to run off Ethernet. If that’s the case, can I connect my desktop to the miner locally?
My current set up….where my router is, I have it plugged into my router downstairs with my desktop upstairs, I just connect to the node locally with umbrel.
I assumed I’d have to connect my futurebit to my router, then just connect locally to my desktop upstairs. Am I right on that? -
