Someone in my local Bitcoin meetup chat just called RarePepe’s another worthless scam NFT. Had to come back with this:
Bitcoin, being a decentralized immutable ledger and a time chain makes it the only source of historically verifiable truth in this world. If someone wanted to prove knowledge (or evidence) of something known today, but that couldn’t be divulged (or declassified) until some point in the future…how could that be done? Couldn’t one encode it in an image (using steganography) and disperse it as public information via an NFT that was minted on the Bitcoin timechain? This would allow a future event to provide proof of past knowledge by signing a key to that encrypted image (aka “future proves past”.). This is the potential of RarePepe’s. It’s out there…I know, but time will tell if that’s correct or not. -

We grieve and weep for the deceased and dispossessed in Maui. Our hearts go out to those who have lost everything.
We are donating 10% of our earned fees income from this auction to Maui disaster relief.
In addition, several generous donors have contributed donation lots.
All Donated Lots Hammer Sales will be sent to long-time Maui resident, Rare Pepe community member @ImpossibleArtifacts for disbursement for on-the-ground relief.
