i'd say bch is much more closely atuned to the original idea of bitcoin than btc is, so as far as i'm concerned btc is the co opted version. the main devs who were there in the beginning support bch over btc. this year it will be able to handle 50k transactions a second. not to mention how much cheaper it is, which is the key attribute (along with the bitcoin name) that will bring the masses. I definitely don't disagree that there are other options out there too, but the point is that they're all better options than BTC.
