Ordinals.com numbering -aka what allows a satpoint to be associated (and marketed) as an image is not a reflection of data uploaded to the blockchains and makes arbitrary decisions. For example using our paintbrush analogy - ordinals.com creates a rules that "a sat/brush' can ONLY be used for 1 image. Even though that's not true. A satoshi can be used to upload data multiples times across time. I made this https://xchain.io/asset/ordinalfork (with help from Joe) which points to the first double inscribed satoshi's second inscrription. You will see the image and data IS on the blockchain - as read by Joe's ORD decoder - but ordinals.com says it does not exist
