Did the XCP devs ever fix the node-incentive issue? I got banned/removed for asking about it in the XCP dev chat a while ago.

To clarify, node operators don't get paid a token for processing transactions (which costs electricity and time). And in order to run a node, you have to download 400GB+ of files.
It always seemed like a lot of work for no pay -
Last I heard, multi asset transfers would have fixed that. You'd pay a small fee in XCP (plus the BTC) which gets paid to the XCP node that processes it

Curious as to how it would cause a fork, since it doesn't disrupt any of the existing transactions and the same framework for single tx would be unchanged... And you could have multi-tx nodes and regular nodes, but at that point I can't see anyone choosing not to get paid

On lambda you are not tied to a specific location or box. But you are still
Portable and accessible.
If all you need is that tweet JSON seems weird to give it a single endpoint that is tied down because you prolly want that server dedicated to other tasks without this being interference/noise on it.
But yeh simplicity says make an endpoint wherever, exact method is not important. :) -
