I don't understand why people even want to move their pepes to ethereum now when gas fees are so much higher there now. You can trade them just fine on Counterparty why change? I would think it makes more sense to go convince NFT traders on eth platforms to switch to Counterparty

Your Counterparty NFT can have additional functionality. For example it can be an access token to allow you to play an exclusive track not otherwise available on an album. You can use it as game items/playing cards transferable between different games. What can you do with Pepes on ethereum that you currently can't as counterparty token?

But seriously, just to gain entrance to a popular market to dump your NFTs sounds a bit unrelated to the actual ethereum platform. It's just a move to put your token on sale where more people may see it. If we had someone willing to invest in marketing Counterparty we could have an equally popular market

I am not advocating for it I am just saying if that is all someone is interested in then there are ways to get there. The RarePepe market already existed and was thriving organically long before NFT tokens on ethereum got started. They are reinventing things we had already and making it more complicated than necessary for most art based NFTs. Regarding musical content on RarePepe you can ask @ScrillaVentura on Twitter
