As far as I can tell, I am awaiting my claim to be disproven by the group lol. I mean I don’t think Mike released his Feels dude as a Rare Pepe, so my claim was PEPEBRICK is the first Physically made / photographed / digitised Rare Pepe. Although from XChain it appears Mike’s dude was later anyway. As far as wider Counterparty goes there might be something else physical that’s earlier but I’ll leave that to the CP archaeological society to dig out.

When the term NFT was crowned, I highly doubt anyone was expecting people to call expiring domains an NFT and that’s the problem I have with it.
If you like them cool, good for you, but the general market who knows NFTs is not expecting their token to expire and it’s grouped on the same chart as all the legitimate NFTs the term was coined for that don’t expire.
It takes away from the significance of what the people here did -

I think technicals kind of go out the window with NFTs. Before Emblem it seemed insane that renewed Namecoin records pointing to random people’s Twitter eggs from 2014 would be worth anything. But once something is packaged up nicely in a vault and given artwork it “feels” like all the other NFTs and that seems to be enough. 🤷♂️ -

Read Reminiscences of a Stock Operator. It was originally published in 1923, so it's in the public domain now. Some of the verbiage is a bit dated (as can only be expected from a hundred year old book), but it's just as valuable today as it was the day it was written.
