I guess it depends on the platform/trading method, but I'd be interested to know how things are flowing, especially in terms of use of XCP and Pepecash vs. BTC in the Counterparty world...... -

so a significant amount of XCP is locked away I forgot all the details - i think its that the exchange says the xcp is the customers coins who didnt redeem them, and that was the last I heard, I'm sure the legal side of things will take quite a while

top addresses are exchange addresses... bittrex, poloniex, and dex-trade... bittrex and polo delisted xcp years ago.. their position is that the XCP in their wallet is not theirs, but exchange users who failed to withdraw the XCP before the delisting date.... its a weird limb-o land... been some proposals floated in the past about re-appropriating xcp from these dead addresses and re-distributing to existing XCP holders based on their currentl holdings.... but, its kinda against the ethos of XCP, so not sure if it'll ever become a reality... tho, with XCP supply in such short supply, perhaps one day 🙂
