I'm sure he got paid, or maybe he had sold his soul to someone like Diddy and was "asked" to do it (while getting paid).
Either way, it's absurd for a 30-year old fight a 60 YO. It's like watching a bull fight in Spain. You know it ends with the bull losing.
I think they had an arrangement that Paul would not hit Tyson enough to knock him down or cause him to totally lose his pride.
Definitely looked like a heavily fixed fight. -
Not fixed in terms of deciding who wins, fixed to allow the obvious loser (60 YO geezer) to keep some pride.

I'm about Tyson's age and I can assure you, no matter how much training I do, I will never have the same physical capabilities I had when I was 30.
I guarantee this is the same for everyone.
Otherwise we would have 60 YO geezers winning Olympic events.
But we don't.
Which is all we need to know about this. -
Valid , but take a quick look at any of the training vids of Mike for this fight and his form and legs weren't so shaky ... Just didn't seem like a legit "fight" imo 🙄 -

I'm sure he's still strong as a small horse and could knock out most ordinary young men with one punch.
BUT he's obviously too old to last in the wring with a young well-trained heavy weight fighter.
Just like a 60 YO former Olympian is not going to ever win any Olympic event.
Masters categories exist in many sports (weightlifting, etc) for this reason. -
I agree , people let "legendary" status cloud their judgement of actual reality. Just another distraction / money grab at the end of the day 🙃
