If it's only a modest position and you have other funds to deploy, there is no point in taking a loss when you can wait for a gain.

Many here will disagree with me and tell you to sell it now to go into Bitcoin.
That's also a valid choice, Bitcoin could well 3X to 5X from here over the same time frame.
In the end only you can make the call, but Cardano is an extremely strong community with a lot of good tech coming through the pipeline, so from that perspective, I suggest it doesn't hurt to hold the position.
2) Some people are using Bisq, which is a decentralised Bitcoin trading network. I have installed it but I have not yet made a trade on it.
For exchanges, I suggest Bittrex, I've been using them since 2015 and they've never let me down.
3) Custody on the Trezor, yes absolutely better than leaving on exchange or a software wallet. -
