My initial thought is that everything should settle on Bitcoin. Focus the hashrate on one network so that it is impenetrable and build on top of that. Transactional coins (like litecoin or doge are said to be) and equity tokens can easily be built on layer 2 bitcoin. The only advantage I can think of is that having competition could allow for greater innovation... I havent dug too deep but it is something that runs across my mind from time to time. Anyone else have thoughts?
