I always thought Hal sold all his Bitcoin he mined to pay medical expenses and I also read a quote from Hal saying the first block he solved was 70 something and that’s when Satoshi sent him 10 BTC for the first Bitcoin send.
In the quote, Hal seemed to not know the exact block number. I’m assuming the quote is real.
But I did look through all the 70 blocks and one address is spent, but no 10 received. -
I’ve never mined Bitcoin, but all the first 21 blocks that I looked at have all different BTC reward addresses that received the 50BTC.
Can the same Bitcoin address mine multiple blocks? It’s just odd how’s it a new address every time. -

It is interesting that the addresses were all different, because HDD wallets weren’t a thing yet, but Satoshi seems to have had it programmed to generate a new address after each block reward was found.
It’s possible there were others mining who were never public about it like Hal was. Assuming they’re still active today, they’d have amassed thousands of bitcoin very early on and wouldn’t need to touch those early blocks. I think they’d recognize those are special and carry a bit more value than just the 50 BTC.
I like that you opened up dispensers on those. I don’t think anyone else can do that now. -

if you use the DEX, then the person BUYING with BTC has to stay online to listen for an order match and send the BTC to pay for the order match.... best to just use a dispenser to sell stuff for BTC, as it runs 24/7 without the need for either party to be online 🙂 -
