Devs removed all barriers to submission last month and got only a single entry

Seems like the users would like to see more development in the platform before offering more submissions. Many promises but not a lot of follow through

Heh, quite the assumption... "many promises" Not sure what your speaking of, but the only promise that was made that I am aware of is that the "Fight" functionality would be built out at some point. I also recall the dev saying that the price of XCP dropping a bunch effected their ability to market and promote the game, and that if there was more cards created for the game and more interest, then that would raise the priority of additional development.... unfortunately, not seeing many cards created 🙁 I would like to see some additional cards created and would like to see the "Fight" functionality built out, but beyond that, the game seems to be running fine and payouts are happening every month exactly as promised in the whitepaper..... Will wait for @mafiawars_game to post an official update tho... would be nice to have the fight functionality working 🙂

Aside from the fight system, other broken promises include:

1. Plans to add the ability for card issuers to add additional information about their cards including video, audio, additional card images (back, sketch, etc).

2. Ability to use special Mission cards in the game.

3. A rewards/trophy system

And that's only what I can think of off the top of my head, I'm sure there was more

Devs want more submissions, users (not many left) want updates. Nothing happens, nobody wins, game is dead in the water

i assume that you speak from chat history and will not bother to challenge the authenticity. everything you said is valid as far as im concerned. while i may be a mod of some sorts to combat spam the bots dont filter i have not had an intimate relationship with the development of the roadmap. There have been several things that i have requested privately from the onset. These things too would help generate interest. I hope that the above concerns as well as any others can be integrated with a roadmap. I am unaware of any internal documents/planning and assume that there will be a fine balance of working with the community and also making small surprise improvements. Therefore, in my capacity, i invite any other well thought out concerns or insight to be voiced at this time or the immediate future (in here or to @mafiawars_game directly) so that the users of this game and the platform can come together and make something flipping awesome

ah. i would like to point out that we went through a period of high fees recently. cant blame the weather for everything, but perhaps this month will be a bit different.

Game is dead in the water huh? Strange... cuz I still am receiving monthly payouts as promised, and I believe that the winner will be determined at the end of the game.... but hey, if the game is "dead" in your eyes, feel free to sell your family tokens and leave... I for one am enjoying getting mafiacash each month, and look forward to the game continuing... tho some additional features/dev would be nice. 🙂

Indeed, cards from other games continue to be imported each month... the beauty of the game, it benefits from ALL the games/cards in the ecosystem... not just a walled-off-garden where you can only use cards created specifically for the game.

@mafiawars_game looks like your vanity address purchased 861.57 XCP for 0.0755 BTC on August 21st of last year. If your lack of development stems from the price of XCP dipping following the sale of all family tokens, what is the rationale for this reinvestment?

So, your questioning what people do with their personal finances now huh? AFAIK the game only sold tokens for XCP... the BTC in the address belongs to @mafiawars_game and they are free to do whatever they would like with their BTC, including purchasing XCP. Your questions about game development are valid... your questions about personal purchases of assets with BTC from an address are inappropriate.

I am not answering for the game.. I am speaking up about your inappropriate question about what someone is doing with their finances... I would do the same if you asked me about my personal purchaes.... Let me dig into your purchase history and throw random questions at you. Keep your questions on point about the game and development, IMO your just trying to cause drama here.... You asked your questions, how about you give them time to respond rather than just continuing to ask questions that are not related to teh game.

Not saying it is an invasion of privacy, yes all transactions are public, but your ASSUMING that all funds in the address are to be spent on the game, which is a false assumption.... the wallet was funded before the game was even started (check history), so IMO @mafiawars_game is free to spend their BTC on whatever they want, your questioning their purchases is inappripriate IMO

imho due to this being a game, there is no official buy back schedule for btc/mafiacash... but that should not discourage it from happening from time to time.

Argument - development stalled because value of XCP went down. Counter argument - The PUBLIC address of the game - which is available to everyone on the planet with a web browser - is making investments of thousands of dollars into the same asset that was blamed for the development stall. Why is it inappropriate for me to observe this?

The game sold tokens for XCP, not BTC... the BTC was funded into the address before the game existed... again your ASSUMPTION is that all the BTC was to be spent on the game, this is a wrong assupmption clearly.... anyone is free to spend their funds how they see fit.... family tokens sold for XCP... XCP was not sold for BTC... So your questioning what someone is doing with their BTC is inappropriate IMO.... again, restating the exact same thing I said 5 minutes ago.

This is not a conspiratard line of questioning! I don't mind how the game uses funds made by making a product, they deserve to reap rewards. I'm saying that the investment choice invalidates the argument that development stalled because of the devaluation of the XCP asset.

Unless you are @mafiawars_game and understand the reasoning behind the additional purchase of XCP with personal funds, you can not know that for certain... is @mafiawars_game not allowed to see that the price of XCP has fallen, see it as a good investment, and purchase more at a discounted price? Once again, and final time, what someone spends their personal funds on is their own business and I feel it is inappripriate for you to question the purchase, or the logic of the purchase.
