Ugh.... will try to add ANOTHER warning to freewallet when setting up a dispenser to check if the address has any balance/history associated with it, and warn the user that they should only be setting up dispensers on non-used addresses.... to avoid unexpected triggers/vends like this.... I warn users against setting up multiple dispensers on a single address.... now will add some code to warn about setting up dispeners on addresses which have some history and look like they are actively being used, etc.

Yeah... except I've screwed up and triggered dispenses just sending myself BTC for tx fees as well... not just from exchanges... got some XCP stuck on trezor addresess now..... IMO best to throw general warning to scare people from setting up dispenesers on addresess they use everyday.... will put some scary text in there about loss of funds, etc.

I don't want to prevent people from doing what they WANT to do.... if they WANT to setup a dispenser on an address that they use, we should allow them to do that.... just like we don't want to prevent people from setting up multiple dispensers on teh same address (could never setup packs of cards to sell if we prevented).... IMO, best solution is the one provided.... let people do what they want, but throw up scary messages and warnings when they do stuff which could result in unexpected behavior (dispenses)

Artist is me... artwork is not really important... just something to associate with the token to show you supported the cause.... Once the BLACKBOX initiaives are fully funded, then you can expect BLACKBOX artwork to be dropped at some future date..... BLACKBOX dispensers are really just a way to do community fundraising for Counterparty and give out an NFT to show that you supported teh cause.... the actual artwork associated with the BLACKBOX projects will be released in the future..... Also, I have plans to airdrop special stuff in the future only to the holders of BLACKBOX tokens (people who have clearly demonstrated they have supported Counterparty initiatives)

good question... should be in the FAQ... here is the answer

Freewallet.io is meant to use ONE 12-word passphrase seed... it is not meant to be switching back and forth between multiple 12-word passphrases... as initializing the wallet is an intensive process and doing it multiple times can result in some corrupted keyindexes (not able to sign transactions cuz cant find private key based off index)..... if you want to use multiple wallets with multiple 12-word passphrases... you can do so in freewallet, but do not do so by switching passphrases again and again..... simply login to wallet #1 and use it normally.... for your second 12-word passphrase, login to counterwallet or freewallet.io and dump all of the private keys from addresses you want to use in your second wallet..... then import them into freewallet... PRESTO.. able to use all your addresses in a single freewallet.io instance without having to keep logging in/out and switching 12-word passphrases seeds

TLDR... freewallet.io is only meant to be used with one 12-word passphrase... for others, export private keys and import into freewallet

Read above.... issue is your signing in and out of freewallet a bunch... prolly messed up your private key index in the process.... try logging out entirely, closing wallet, then starting fresh

Only issues i've ever heard with signing were related to using freewallet.io with multiple passphrases and switching between the two (not how freewallet was intended to be used).... and in every case, the issue was fixed by simply resetting the wallet and trying to sign the transaction again

freewallet CAN do it.... it just isn't how the wallet was intended to run... and can sometimes result in not being able to sign a transaction until you logout and close the wallet and login again... but if your switching back and forth with no issues, feel free to continue doing so.... just be aware of the issue if you start having problems signing transacations 🙂
