The FAQ link above times out and I can’t log a support issue because the json service behind the form is broken. I’ve used the correct passphrase but the wallet is empty - should be some small balances of BTC and XRT and a big chunk of privately created ‘SRTCoin’ in there. Has it been overwritten?

I never checked the other addresses in rpw. Always used the default one. Only after trying to import it to freewallet and having my default address not appear, I went back to RPW, changed to another address that I saw on freewallet and after that my original one was gone

Today I open my wallet and I don’t see this address there. I see 1ET6Ty8BTjtR5PompP2HTQKGBg7KkYgSw3 instead. So, now I cannot get no private or public key for the gone address, multisig address become useless and its coins are locked.

Anyone knows how to get the root key from the seed phrase on freewallet. The words that they use seem to be different than the typical BIP39 words list. Trying to use the Ian Coleman tool but it doesn’t recognize the words that were generated by rarepepewallet

Are there rarepepewallet devs in this chat? I’ve been dealing for the last day and half with the nightmare scenario of having entered my passphrase generated by rarepepewallet in freewallet. The wallet that came up didn’t contain my original no1 address with the assets. Upon coming back to rarepepewallet I double checked passphrase and the checked the other addresses associated with the wallet to see if they match the ones that came up at freewallet. They did and I switched to one of them. After trying to switch back to the no1 address, it’s no longer there. I never reset the RPW and up until when I changed addresses in the same wallet, it still showed on screen. It looks like it’s something within RPW. Please help!

not sure what "other" wallet your referring to.... but, if you use counterwallet.io or freewallet.io, the passphrases are interchangable and you should be fine/safe.... neither of the wallets ever have access to any of your funds and both are open-source projects, which means anyone can spin up a counterwallet node or do a freewallet build, even if the wallets stop being maintained

just make sure to follow the directions and write down your 12-word passphrase and keep it safe (not on a computer).... also make sure to run some anti-malware/anti-virus software on your computer to stop your computer from being infected by malware which can do funky things... such as detect you copying a bitcoin/crypto address and automatically replace the address with one of the malwares choosing.... when you send funds anywhere, check and double-check that the address your sending to is the correct one... don't just copy/paste
