Ok, first off they are not technically “Change” Addresses, they are however, “Change To Address ‘x’ addresses” for when you want to use a new address under the same seed.

I use the shit out of them but your address will not use a new address as a Actual Change address on its own UNLESS you import the Seed to say BitWallet on iOS Devices

Now for you, Freewallet creates 10 addresses of both legacy and segwit immediately upon creation

So can you send me a screenshot of it ONLY having 3 addresses you can see. Because you should be able to see the first 5

Each of my wallet seeds have like 975 to 1500 addresses AND I do not suggest doing that if you plan on using that seed forever because it will heavily bog down freewallet and it will eventually not allow sends from your mobile device UNLESS you create a new seed and scrub that old seed out of your Freewallet

But if you cannot see anymore addresses(and yes I have heard of what your problem is even though I’ve glazed right over it on accident telling my freewallet life story looool), Your main address will most likely be address 2-7 98% of the time

This was actually a Counterwallet issue not freewallet issue, so if you made your wallet deed using Counterwallet then it will be pegged at address 2-7 somewhere in there
