Does VM mean royalties will become a possibility? I assume it would only apply for newly issued tokens, but would it be possible for older assets like Rare Pepes to have it added? -
the basic attributes of assets would remain the same... your not going to have some "pay me a kickback % when this token sells" functionality in the base protocol.... but a VM will allow people to write smart contracts, similar to how ETH does it, except not in solidity (javascript instead which is compiled into bytecode)..... someone can write a smart contract which issues a token which can only be controlled/moved through the smart contract.... at that point, yes you can enforce royalty payments and such pretty easily.... we might have to make a tweak to the base protocol to determine if a token is a "base" token or a "smart contract token"... so that "smart contract tokens" cant be moved/trade except inside the originating smart contract

Exchanges cannot keep confiscated customer funds.
Yes, some of that XCP may be owned by Polo or Bittrex, but legally any customer funds confiscated is owned by the gov.

its a long stretch from "legally those funds should belong to the US GOV".... to "Those funds are in the hands of the US GOV".... the funds are in the hands of the exchange wallets/exchanges... and as I have mentioned, we have a nuclear option we can use in the coming year to redistribute that XCP to holders if the community agrees with the idea.... initialy I was against this option... but as they continue to ignore XCP, it becomes more attractive to me.... could result in a big price pump if we announce things before the redistribution 🙂

So I had an issue with IndieSquare originally the first 500 didn't seem to mint, stuck tx for 23 hours.
So I did it again, then both tx's ended up going through that's how it ended up with 1000.
So the agreed ratio split between me and Toawa became 400/600 instead of 200/300.
Then we had a bunch of beef over auction fees, a few other things... so then I ended up charity auctioning my 400 for the Patitas Felices Rescue Shelter Charity Auction, to support the dog rescue shelter Helene was helping in February 2017. -
