"pending" means the transaction is in the mempool and it is waiting to get processed.... you just need to be patient and your transaction will eventually show up.... next time if you want the transaction to be processed faster, send with a higher transaction fee.... tho, sometimes the mempool can fill up pretty fast even if you do pay a high tx fee.

lol... so his entire beef with Counterparty boils down to the fact that you have to use XCP to issue a named asset.... I dont see that is really an issue... XCP is an anti-spam mechanism put on certain functions which write a bunch of data to the database... so, it serves a purpose.... I spose we could tweak CP in the future to have the anti-spam fee be calculated in BTC.... and/or have the system automatically purchase the required amount of XCP from a dispenser..... so, users would be able to issue a named asset using JUST btc... but honestly, I dont really see XCP as that much of a hurdle.. with dispensers, there is no real need to have a centralized exchange to get XCP.... and having to get some XCP from a dispenser kinda educates and familiarizes noobs with CP basics and how dispensers work, which is good, because they will most likely be setting one up relatively quickly.
