nah that's not it, the app correctly throws an insufficient balance error if the btc balance is too low. I cannot reproduce your error at the moment; If possible please open your console (by right-clicking on the page selecting "Inspect Element") go to the Console tab and repeat the checkout process and see if there are any errors that pop up. Besides that, we'll continue to try to reproduce on our side. Sorry about that.

CP API is often quite off with the fee anytime it's multisig

@ffmad is right that CP Core needs better fee estimation but Horizon has its own fee estimation independent from Counterparty that is _pretty_ accurate (but can be better).

the way to solve this is typically either with rbf or cpfp but atm Horizon doesn't support those. I know that people use tooling like Electrum sometimes to speed up txs but hopefully someone can give more concrete advice than I can atm.

I would suggest to contact the dispenser owner with a link to the failed dispense and explain the issue

It wasn't closed when I initiated the the dispense, but I made a mistake and chose "high" fee instead of choosing the custom fee and set it to 200 sat/vbyte. it looks like the owner closed it while I was tryin to speed the things up. I was not aware of that until now. Im sure I will get my money back, just wanted to know what happened. I admit I was suspicious that something with dispenser might be fishy but that seems not to be the case now. Thank you all for your help

Can I import private key from Freewallet to Horizon? If so, do I select Segwit or Legacy?

Yes you can. Right now, you must first create a new wallet or import an existing wallet. Once you are in the wallet, you can select “Import Private Key” from the settings menu.

You would choose segwit to import an address that begins with bc1q, or legacy for an address that begins with 1

Gm, I'm trying to send an asset however I get this error

I have assets attached to these utxos, not sure why it says they are invalid. I presume the wallet is trying to use them as inputs for my send.

Yes, the wallet will use all utxos as inputs and then use the exlude_utxos_with_balances flag to tell the backend not to use utxos with attached assets. It’s possible that any other utxos in your wallet may not have a high enough balance to cover this transaction. Just an immediate guess, but I will take a look.

Yes, there are plenty of stops in backend to prevent accidentally spending them, and in the upcoming release of we add a number of UI improvements that will make more clear that you won’t be spending your utxos with attached assets

Value is highly influenced by supply.

And the market cap is directly dependent on supply (market cap = supply x price).

i used FW, simple BTC send function, wallet asked me "are you trying to trigger dispenser" i answered "YES" and after sending received the asset.

but i am using horizon too. trying to migrate and use horizon only. i am just starting , getting feet warm

i clicked right click on BTC in FW, then "send" and after entering address and amount, pop up showing "are you trying to dispense" because they see address you entered has dispenser. press YES and pay, should be okay, at least it worked for me

in windows. in bottom right corner there is an "arrow" that show all your running applications.

check if there is no red square, if it is, close it. and try to open FW again. sometimes they are running in the background and not letting to open wallet until that "red" is closed. happened to me.

not only function. but it was nice that destructed assets were deducted from circulated supply too.

First of all Happy Holidays. It looks like you solved the dispenser misery problem. I will be excited to use this. One questions that is not complete clear to me from reading the docs. If I buy XCP on Horizon Market, can I send it after the swap to my rarepepewallet to use on the Dex to buy assets vs XCP? And can I send it to Dex-trade in the future to sell as normal XCP?

No, the fee is charged for hosting the signed psbt from the seller, not for a bitcoin network transaction.

Good question. We tried to answer it in the FAQ but may have not been clear: In the scenario you laid out you would first need to detach the asset balance from the UTXO. This can be done in Horizon Wallet by searching for the balance and then selecting the following button.

So, there's no bitcoin transaction?

the listings on horizon market are partially signed Bitcoin transactions from sellers of Counterparty assets, but they themselves are not broadcast to the network. When someone buys that listing they co-sign and broadcast the transaction to the network. So the seller pays a listing fee on Horizon and the buyer pays the Bitcoin network fee.

when I connect to the horizon market through the Horizon Wallet Chrome extension, I can only see the Segwit addresses & not the legacy addresses. Is there a workaround since I have my assets on a legacy address (I can see that address inside the extension, the only issue is that I cannot see/select it inside the horizon market )

So at the moment only segwit addreses are supported, but we're working on getting legacy addresses working, too (we are already did a bunch of work on it but unsure whether there are technical limitations that might preclude it.)

In any case, it's one of the next things we're working on and if it's possible it should be done pretty soon.

Yep totally understood. As I said, after a decent amount of investigation we're still not sure whether there are some inherent limitations we have to contend with in how these PSBTs need to be constructed, but if it's possible to construct them with legacy addresses it'll be done soon.

Meantime, we've implemented MPMA so that you can bulk send your assets to a segwit address; that'll be released in the next couple of days. And then we're going to add sweeps, too (though with the necessary warning about escrowed and UTXO-attached assets not being transferred to the destination address)
