If you wanted them to show up on the explorer like a regular tx, it would cost an additional tx (fee) everytime you list one for sale (if it was designed like that)

Someone will need to create an aggregator site to compile all available swaps across different sites to get what you want

Once your asset is bound to a utxo. You need to create a sell order on each market you choose to use. Broadcasting a psbt sell request does not require a fee, unless we are discussing the market place like Horizon where there is a $2 platform fee.

And no it isn't wallet exclusive, as Horizon market also supports Unisat wallet. The order you created in RPW is RPW market exclusively

Utxos marketplace can be a little more complicated for the seller, but totally safe and simple for the buyer

Yes exactly. The second bigger user benefit after being unruggable unlike dispensers is that UTXO/atomic swap reduce the requirement to pay to list. It can open up insane activity and finally a true representation of market

There is a process in place whereby a JSON file for a collection can be submitted to Horizon (through me). At the moment it’s kind of manual but long-term it will be more automated. So all it takes is for a collection maintainer to submit a JSON feed to have their collection appear in Horizon.

I’ll ask around. That being said, the devs likely have their hands full.

atomic swaps in general are all or nothing, no partial fills. a buyer can only buy the full quantity. You’d have to attach them in smaller groups that you want to sell and list each group individually

NP! That’s the nature of atomic swaps and can’t be changed. The asset group is attached to a UTXO and then all operations are atomic on that attached asset group

let's say it gets momentum, then people use the dispensers, then scammers show up (they're already here) to scale up aswell, then the new momentum would probably be stopped

since people would conclude that it's not usable without big risks

Well, since you haven't got any official response yet (kinda shitty to have a support chat room and get no support when questions are asked).... Based on what I have seen in the past when "weird" stuff like this happens where things dont appear on tokenscan (which only shows transactions which were actually ON the counterparty ledger).... this is prolly a case of you using horizons tools which relies on their middleware layer (talks to counterparty to pull some data, but then also stores its own set of data) which seems to think you created and broadcast a transaction to issue THEEARLIES and THEARTFORCE... and hands you back a tx hash as if it actually a transaction.... but the reality of the situation is, their middleware layer is out of sync with what is ACTUALLY showing on the counterparty ledger... so you wind up with results like this, where their horizon tools indicate stuff which shows as valid in their system, but is not visible anywhere else..

This is why I wrote counterparty2mysql which pulls data directly from the counterparty ledger and shows only things that are valid on the counterparty ledger.... writing a middleware layer, while it might seem like a good idea, quite often leads to problems like this, where you rely on the middleware layer to have good data, when the reality of the situation is that is not always the case.... hence why it is best to always rely directly on the counterparty data and pull data from it and not a middleware layer.

This situation reminds me of the questions being asked about TOOFUNNYPEPE and why things were showing up as valid on horizon, but not on other explorers which use the actual cp ledger (tokenscan.io, xcp.io, etc).. and in that case it turned out to be

1. TOOFUNNYPEPE transaction being generated using an unreleased version of counterparty with a changed issuance format

2. The horizon middleware layer indicating that the transaction was valid because it was pulling the wrong field from its middleware layer and not relying on the counterparty ledger status field to determine the status of the transaction.

If I am incorrect, feel free to speak up and correct me (tho I suspect that this comment will just be blatantly deleted rather than addressed)...

Horizon doesn't use any middleware at all.

The Unspendable Labs API is correctly reporting that issuance as invalid. We think it's a UI issue that's causing it to be labeled as valid in Horizon. We're looking into it now.

What can the Unspendable Labs API do?

That's the API used by Horizon

Initial investigation shows that it's something weird about how asset "resets" are handled. (The implementation is terrible. :/)

This API call for instance shows both valid and invalid status for the same transaction:

Horizon is seemingly using a different field from the one used by Tokenscan, and it's not a versioning thing.

Yep confirmed. So the two statuses report different things: the outer status is the validity of the transaction; the inner one is the validity of the resulting issuance. Everything is behaving correctly; just different explorers showing the same data differently. (Fwiw this is an edge case. It showed up just because someone was running pre-release nodes and producing some invalid transactions.)

Got it…. Used a word “middleware” instead of ur preferred term horizon api…. In any case, I believe my assumption about why you’re showing transactions in your wallet that don’t show up anywhere on the counterparty ledger is true….

If you don’t use any middleware and prefer to call it, the horizon API, then that’s perfectly fine. We’re talking about terminology, but the underlying principle of your system holding data and thinking transactions are valid, which are not on the counterparty ledger is the core point

Anyway…. I’ll stfu… n let u actually answer Cody’s question…. You’ve spoken up to refute the term middleware, but you haven’t said anything to the core issue of why transactions are showing up in horizon wallet which are not visible on the counterparty ledger.

Previously I was able to log in to Horizon using the same seed phrase and the same browser with no issues.

@codythecampbell as far as I can tell the rhe transaction data format was correctly parsed (hence "valid") but was never issued due to one of the following:
Race condition - another transaction may have consumed your XCP first
Asset name conflict - in the case of THEEARLIES that asset already existed

The asset doesn't exist in your balance and the asset is missing from any issuance records
I really just think this is a low fee issue and you should try to reissue with standard fee
