FYI for the ones who mentioned the auctions. The auctions are proxy bidding. So you enter your "max bid" and it will outbid anyone up until your max is reached.
Example: current item is for 1000. You set a max bid of 2500 into the box. The system will place a bid at 1100 for you and make you the highest bidder. Now if someone new comes along and bids 1500... You will automatically bid 1600 to take the lead back. They will not be the high bidder until they bid over your 2500 max bid. -
