So, after "upgrading" to counterparty-core 10.9.1... I continue to get this crashing loop.... I did a complete uninstall and fresh install yesterday, let bitcoind sync and spun up counterparty-core, and I still continue to get this issue where cp-core is in a crashing cycle
-
any insight as to why this is happening?
-
-
Error in handle loop: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable
-
that seems to be the crashing error... stopping and restarting node doesn't fix anything
-
-
would like to get some help getting this node working properly... lest I have to put an update on tokenscan.io indicating that the public CP API at public.tokenscan.io is down due to instability issues in 10.9.1... any help would be appreciated.
-
and now mysteriously it catches up, parses a block fine and then throws another error
-
-
Yup... crickets in the development chat when a dev asks for help... gotta love the CP 2.0 support... lol
-
-
and back to randomly crashing loops
-
I don’t think this chat is monitored by the dev team?
-
Oh, vector is in here, and he most definitely monitors this chat…. Adam is not…. I would ask this question in the counterparty channel however I have been muted in that channel since November, so I am unable to ask questions there🤷🏻♂️
-
Not a developer for counterparty.
-
lol… yup and God forbid you relay this message to your leader🤷🏻♂️
-
File a ticket ?
-
Sure, Vector I’ll do that and see what kind of helpful response. I get from Adam and team.👍🏻

Crashing node after updating to 10.9.1 · Issue #2982 · CounterpartyXCP/counterparty-core
I attempted to "upgrade" to counterparty-core 10.9.1 yesterday and did a full clean install (resynced bitcoind, counterparty, etc). Now my counterparty-core node is stuck in a cycle of cr...

Issue created with description and screenshots showing the various ways that CP is in a crash loop.... will wait for a "dev" to respond now.
