well the pegz were sold for ETH and this is the PEGZ DAO so it makes sense from that POV. but yeah they are missing out on more bids by limiting it to that. -
I think the idea is the 99 go into this DAO, which is controlled by the pegz buyers. Not sure if they each get one or what -

if you dont hold the keys, you dont hold the pepe. if you collect them via the dex then you immediately have your pepe in an address that you and you only (hopefully) control the key to. scarce city is also safe in this sense because they only use the btc chain. opensea is great for exposure, and the emblem/coval team are great... but it's the same thing as the existing financial system in a sense. acting as a broker/dealer (opensea) instead of people just trading p2p
