For full disclosure, I put 30 of the 120 DOGSALL in.
Different settings have different impacts...
Something like 1.5 eth to 0.5 eth over four hours, would have yielded a different result.
For example, with above, could be a whole lot less sold and a bunch burned, but better potential revenue and it does come down to the hard costs of minting.
I think the model is good, but needs some consideration and optimisation. -

Countdown to 0 is arguably problematic for the future price as well. Someone will always scoop at very low price vs. let the card burn. Maybe burning the card was actually the way here for the future price to go up.

People waiting near the end to get them cheap get burned on gas. People buying earlier seemingly overpay, but then one pops off for 1 ETH right after... all very interesting.

There are only 120 cards - so this wont push the overall eth gas price high. However, someone scooping at 0.07eth to acquire 20 cards will likely do it with a high gas price to go in front of others.

It does feel bad, I realise that's a bummer for @Cornholio_the_Great and anyone else who burned gas firing in last minute buys on the PepeDrop. My general rule of thumb is don't try anything less than five minutes to go, without paying a BIGGIE gas fee. And generally that's not going to be worth the risk.
