Hey! 👆👆👆 I’m about to give my perspective on some of these, and by no means am I saying I’m right or have all the answers, just trying to create genuine convos around pepes and bring value to those who need. So feel free (especially OG’s) to chime in if you feel inspired to.

What do you think the overall future of NFTs holds? -
Ahhhh….not sure! I think it’s tricky depending on the card we’re looking at. There are 1774 cards in the collection. A lot of them do have high issuances or have whales holding a large supply, but I feel like a.) pepedrops.io came a right time to help. If you haven’t seen what they’re up to you should check (I’m not affiliated with them) b.) I don’t think all whales are bad. I believe artists have the right to do what they want with their cards, and a lot of the major holder IMO don’t want to just dump on the market. I really believe that. Just looking for solutions for better distribution. Some cards have waaaayyyy too much supply and that’s the nature of the beast.
I think, if you find a card/piece you’re genuinely into you should get it, and then support the artist/whale in their efforts to create better distribution. Whether that’s just being more vocal about why you like that specific card, or by seeing what their goals are and offering relevant support! My 2 cents -

We have been trying to get people to realize the superiority of counterparty for years. Most people like to just point and click on openesea. There is a learning curve with Xcp which most people aren’t willing to tackle initially. Imo, ironically, the centralized nature of opensea will be the downfall of most eth nfts, but opensea has been a great way for those who are interested in digging deeper to discover counterparty

Nowhere near peaked. You realize that memetic warfare is a thing? And it’s just getting started. Memes are one of the most powerful way to convey a message and Pepe is the most well known meme globally imo. If memes are important enough for militaries to implement as part of their offensive cyber strategy, I don’t think that Pepes that we made for fun are going away any time soon.

I dunno if it was plain ignorance or on purpose but they chose a really predatory marketing firm that sold ADA to a Japanese newb audience with a promise of huge returns, and sold OTC by several 'retailers'. It was practically an MLM. Charles went and did some events and they were selling goods with his face on it. -
The marketing tactic for selling ADA was considered predatory enough that the local regulators had even issued a warning over it
