Does the opendime need to be exposed in a way that a usb cable can attach to the painting to validate?

It's a USB device, you can verify the sale transaction by reading it without punching a hole in it (which enables you to see the private key)

the issue is that opendime doesnt support tokens right now, which just means you cant see it using their software

It is dawning on me that you may not have XCP or btc in your wallet if that was your first dive into crypto. You need .5 XCP to create the token/asset and btc eventually to send anything. BTC is the gas for all transactions as counterparty is layered on top of btc

I'd be interested to see a plot of Bitcorn card issuances over time - I'm pretty sure the average nmber of cards issued continues to decrease.
