The roadmap for Counterparty is gonna be hard to code against the way the backend of bitcorns.com works.

There's probably a way to make something else that runs of xchain APIs and in that case owning CROPS could still mean you have a "farm" but owning a BITCORN.FARM means you're like OG.

1 tx fee that is above the basic tx fee? Something like 10000 sats instead of 1000?

Yes, the tx you make to claim a name has to pay the bitcoin miners a minimum of 0.00010000 BTC or it's not valid.

Sounds like an excellent way to resolve the 'you don't need a token' argument and improve the fee based security concept
