This is some of the latest rune information.

One of the most important things to look for in a rune is the premine.
There are terms for the mint and one of them is how much is premined.
Not necessarily bad, but a high percentage could be rug.
If you bribe a miner you can also premine, even if in your terms the premine is set to zero, by having the miner include mint txs in the same block as the announcement basically.
That will be harder to spot. -
And there’s a mint period which could be a delayed mint period, so worth knowing if you’re minting outside of the window.

I think, hypothetically, if there were a Bitcorn rune the premine could be used to distribute tokens to Bitcorn and Crops holders on Counterparty via some mechanism, like a burn or a claim.
An airdrop probably not because it may land on many forgotten wallets but not out of the realm of possible.
And the open minting period could be delayed making Counterparty the only way to access the Rune. And to allow time to manage the distribution. -
Possibly delaying as long as 4 years or something silly.
