One thing I will mention is that the Top Holder has 80% and hasn't had any movement in 4 years. Now that doesn't mean that the wallet is truly dead, it could be sleeping..... the next highest has 10% and was active yesterday. This could bring the available total down to 20k or so, which is still high but not 100k high. -

how did I know? I checked the address that issued the dispenser.
That address had previewsly recieved a bunch of pepecash, likely an intermediary address to make dispensers.
It received all its funds from the same address.

Which when searched on this group showed to be the gentlemen above.
Looks like a dispenser purchase confirmed just a 5 blocks before your's brian. So likely you didn't check unconfirmed txs comming into the dispenser and they simply cleaned out most of the pepecash there in, except for the 1 that you got.
And the owner didnt notice.
