You can send multiples, but it's not surfaced well in the UI that you've included multiples or different pepes. So, people have tried to solve for that with the featured image.

Do I just click on dispensers?

click on card displayed in xcp explorer - click on holders. The lagest holders are listed at the top. The thing you want to avoid is where a single address or small group of addresses holds a big portion of the cards because they could easiliy manipulate the price. To further check, for each whale address you can click on it and then click on sends. If the last activity on that address is like a couple of years, there's a good chance that those cards are lost - no gaurantee though. For example if you do that with PEPEENEUMAN, you can see an issuance of 258 but the first two holders haven't seen any activity in at least 2 years (one holds 128 the other like 68) - reducing the effective circulating supply to no more than 60!
