Well kudos to you for pointing this out to all 👍, for me I think it's critically important whenever you want to prove that the token issued has the same image associated with it that it did when registered. Not everyone agrees, but I think it can be important in certain cases for a purchaser of an asset to know that the image/music/video has not changed.

i agree with you... people were using the .json method for pepe and i was scratching my head because i could see so many ways to exploit that, and at the very least it not to be dependable in the future if a site goes down, and you can't independantly verify with just the artwork/token

anyone can generate a hash (whether it's md5 or sha1 (or even another one))

Ten new orders for CORNDPP on ledgerdex - cheap, cheap, cheap. Here's my version on how to get them:
-
1. get Ether from somewhere
2. go to ledgerdex.com, sign message with wallet to access
3. wrap some ether (convert ETH => WETH)
3. click on allowance for that WETH (my tokens screen)
4. click on plus icon to add new token (my tokens screen)
5. click "search token to add" tab, add the ERC20 CORNDAPP contract address - 0x3e91a4c4ce0d6beb50b8bb140accffad080f66ad
6. you should see CORNDAPP listed, click on "Buy" in that row, choose WETH->CORNDAPP
7. if open orders you will see them on the screen, click to fill order
8. when order has settled, return to my tokens screen and under actions, choose send
9. send tokens to PEPEDAPP contract address - 0xE4Bd56Cbf537074e3836a1721983107cce9e689F
