correct... previously there was a 30-day burn where funds were destroyed and then no more XDP was allowed to be created.... for the reboot we went with a 60-day bern where funds are captured in community fund which will be controlled by a community elected foundation... will help keep the platform alive and provide funds for developers, exchange listings, server hosting, etc.

A few suggestions before this rolls.
- donate a portion to support XCP dev (one person maintaining mother code)
- nix legal fees and marketing. These should be community initiatives and nfts can be made for fundraising each initiative
My 2 sats. -
How the community fund is spent is entirely up to the Dogeparty foundation... the suggested use of community funds list on the site is just that, a suggestion... once the Foundation is elected by the community they can decide how to best utilize the funds... and yes, Counterparty will be getting benefits from Dogeparty, maybe not directly in funding, but in improvements and bugfixes to its protocol via updates to dogeparty which can get pushed up into the counterparty repos... Thanks for your suggestions 🙂

none, you dont need to run a dogeparty node unless you want to interact with dogeparty

also the dogeparty-lib repo (where all the guts of Dogeparty live) will remain as a private repo until after the burn.... primarily to prevent people from forking the code before the end of the burn and trying to take over the platform and replace their own bern address, etc... after bern is over, repo will go full public... just like all the other repos currently are :)

api.dogeparty.net is all you really need to interact with dogeparty... its a load-balanced endpoint with 4 different API servers powering it.

Dogeparty nodes don't talk to one another... they only read the dogecoin blockchain, so running a dogeparty node doesn't actually help the dogeparty platform.... so like I said, you really only need to run a dogeparty node if you want to build something on dogeparty and interact with the platform and the public api is not good enough for you... Main ppl who will run dogeparty nodes will be exchanges and projects, not individuals

Two things I believe would help Dogecoin: 1) Completion of DOGE-ETH bridge 2) NFT platforms (e.g. Opensea) allowing for the DOGE-ETH token to be used for purchases NFTs purchasing is high demand with crypto. Allowing for DOGE purchases of NFTs greatly increases its utility.
