- My time available to participate in this space is more and more limited by irl work and family.
- If there's a possibility someone with greater vision and drive wants to build on what I started, I'd like to at least offer the opportunity to them to run with it.
- Maintaining the sites/accounts & assets is very low on my priority list atm. I don't see that improving. -

Sorry to be confusing. It's probably not for you if the only value is the RUNNER tokens.
The project had 4 tokens used in game play, and still in dispensers owned by me. I'm offering all IP related to the project, essentially giving control of the first web 3 gaming experiment to the new owner.
If runners are what you only find value in there is one included in the vault wallet in the spreadsheet. But that's it.

It's not monetisable without the main token of Runner. Essentially you are giving the skin of the mango with the pulp already having been scooped out.

The buyer could just assign more importance to different tokens in the next iteration of the game. Would still be kinda cool to have a game that only used tokens from 2014.

May be for people who are fixated on hnfts. But it would actually then be very unfair on the buyers of Runner tokenwho bought it with quite a substantial amount per piece thinking it's gonna be the main token on the game which was promised by Mr. Bit.

They won't as it doesn't affect the history of the game. The history behind the significance of the RUNNER token is what gives it its value; nothing can change that.

People bought runner because it was advertised as the 1st gaming token whose assets were registered in 2014, picture got attached in 2022? and it was advertised that the issuer is making an ecosystem and game out of it. Now that the entire runner tokens have got sold at that huge amount with only 1 remaining in the vault, the project owner is abandoning it. For me it's the same as Rare Doge artists who sell their token to the buyers , collect doge, then just vanish without doing any publicity of their cards, without participating in spreading word about dogeparty. Basically just taking , never giving.

When you buy a piece of art, you don't expect the artist to continue doing publicity or anything, do you? The same standard should be applied to all tokens. When promises are involved, then yeah, that's a different story. But I don't think anyone who bought LiteBit's game tokens still wish they could take part in the game. They are just happy to have them as part of their collection. -
Ofc I do expectand so would almost everyone. If anyone is investing in something which comes with a certain promise, they will expect the artist to follow up on that.

Its all good. Sounds like you want the most value in your nfts so runner is the only value because it was first. The dogeparty runner tokens weren't nfts when they were created. They were created as fungible game tokens each with their own purpose in gameplay. They moved back and forth between player wallets during games.. When we added art to the assets they lost the cool factor of being digital game pieces that can be traded outside of the game and found new value as collectibles in the nft space.
This offer is an honest attempt to hand someone with more time or drive a piece of XDP history and let them grow it into something. The concept is still valid for using assets as gaming pieces. Art has mostly moved onchain while the potential for tokenized assets is still largely untapped.

Nobody is playing the game with ANY of the old tokens. They are too expensive and relegated to digital antiquities. If I were to reboot the game one way is to use the XDPR asset which was minted 5 hours later, for the game but never used. Or use subassets of any of the originals as a throwback nod but without the crutch of being a collectible nft.
