it should be working again.... some issue with the DNS for api1.tokenscan.io not pointing to the correct place... not sure why... will dig into it more tomorrow, but for now I hardcoded the IP address into the apache proxy config so you should be able to generate and broadcast dogeparty transactions again

@jdogresorg Iâm not a coder, but how do these things happen? Surely when you have locked down the code as working, it should just work? Unless someone hacks the code and alters it or a server hardware failure that prevents code on it being read? -
the code itself works (explorer and node)... but occasionally some settings get changed or DNS expires or whatnot and in those times, best to just figure out the core issue and fix.... also Javier and I work on many of the same servers, so occasionally some stuff gets overwritten or changed without the other one being aware... also a bunch of stuff is running on the servers, so sometimes the server can get busy with a sql update or such and max out disk IO which can make things lag and timeout.... in most cases, a simple restart of services like apache or dogenode fix things.... in this instance it seems like api1.tokenscan.io was not pointing to the correct IP adddress... could be I changed the setting and never restarted the apache config so could have been a problem laying in wait for many months for an apache restart... not exactly sure, but all should be working now

to followup on this question.... it seems that an SSL certificate expired yesterday, which is the cause of all of the problems and why tokenscan.io was down the past couple hours... the apache server was displaying some weird behaviour and routing all requests to xchain.io since the ssl cert for tokenscan.io was expired... took a couple hours to track down exactly what was going on, but figured it out

should be all good now... *.tokenscan.io ssl cert has been updated and all should be back up and working normally...

I remember working on huge shared excel worksheets where you would have similar issues. To prevent cross working, you can lock cells and worksheets, so only you can work on those sections to prevent overwrites/errors. -

Not that I think that's completely necessary. Honestly, I think longevity is more important than flash. I would just like to be able to expand our base of active users to maybe just 30% of what it was in 2021, and then try to maintain that level. That would be pretty ideal.

mobile wallet, support for making the token easy to use on desktop / browser / mobile... and the a marketplace site and more projects using the platform.... once the mobile wallet is done, should be able to focus on onboarding more users since then it'll be a bit easier... marketing and outreach are important, but IMO not as important as protecting the unique spirit and ethos of the community here... with the fracturing of the counterparty ecosystem and community, the spirit is rapidly dying and it is losing the one thing which made it unique... the incredible united community of artists and scientists and developers... however, over here on dogeparty, we have always remained pretty united and of the same mind.... here for the fun and friends and art and lulz... so, I think we just stay the course and protect our ethos and community spirit and stay alive and our time will come.... we got a bunch of unique qualities no one else has đ

Agree with everything here... I do know that a single click to buy and sell is highly appealing to many users, where its done on DoggyMarket... Not sure if thats possible here but, if it was, I believe we would all strike gold. Even if, it was a seperate marketplace that can be used in conjunction with what we already have. -

@kriczq is the owner of Doggymarket, where you can purchase NFTs on dogecoin. Its similar to Amazon or other mainstream site, can bulk buy or whatever, just click buy and confirm, same with selling.
Wonder if he would be willing/able to cooperate in such a venture with Dogeparty in some such way, can also start a donation pool if needed. Have no idea if thats even possible, though. -
yeah... selling tokens for the native token (DOGE) on the dex is a pain in the ass... dispensers are preferred for this as it makes buying things with DOGE a single action vs on the DEX the buyer has to keep their wallet open and listen for the order match and send the payment in DOGE... definitely less than ideal.

There is an attraction to simplicity, for example clicking "Buy" instead of having to copy and paste an address. Or clicking "Sell" and input desired price, without having to change into a different address. Its not a big deal to us, but it can be for others that are accustomed to a simple interface.

heh.... will circle back to that when I get some time... right now all my focus is on xchain... haven't had time to update raredogedirectory.com submission form yet for S1C1 submissions yet.... but the plan is to let all artists who have submitted artwork to the project submit artwork to be considered for S1C1 and then pick a winner and all the rest will get subassets of S1C1 issued.... it'll signal the start of the "rare puppies" project... an art project focused on doge-based artwork using subassets.... i'll def move this up the priority list once XChain is out the door
