The hype is they are Ordinals on Doge, and way cheaper to interact with compared to BTC, although over the past few weeks they've been largely stagnant. -

One way to look at the appeal of Doginals is that the top tier Ordinals collections on BTC out price most of the global population for being able to participate in Ordinals, with cute dog images, tokens etc.
I mean, at one point Nodemonkes were north of $18k, OMB whitelist mint price for "orange eyes" was $21k. If crypto is a global thing most Westerners can't afford that, much less people in developing countries.
Where I try to step in is to tell them " Doge has had tokens and NFTS since '14", and some are intrigued by it. -

Someone created a Shitcoin DRC20 and claimed they were the first "Shitcoin" on Doge. I called them on it and they seemed less than interested. For many people it's all about hype and cash grabs.
For some it's simply ignorance. I have a feeling 99% of the people in Doginals have never heard of DogeParty. I talk about it for the small percentage of people who will get interested when they find out about it. -

What happens to when someone has 90% of a project/token/NFT? Such a person can dump the market, right.
So it is why it's only logical to sell cheap so early collectors will have a high ceiling in the future for being so early. It's like joining a project at 10k, if such ran to 73 million like BOME did recently, then early birds are in for good.
So, selling cheap at the beginning is not berating the piece, it's ensuring there is a great distribution and also leave room for your collectors to make some quid in the future if they decide to.
Without the collectors, what becomes of the artists? -
