yep... it was getting out of control... CP was born, there was hope of some organization and sanity... but, bitcoin core devs fought back.. .OP_RETURN wars ensued... and vitalik decided to build ETH after seeing he couldn't build anything on BTC really.... so everyone hopped on the "Lets build a global world computer that can do anything" hopium.... crowdfunds, lots of ppl got rich, shitcoining moved from private chains to just a few ETH style chains and copycats Tezos, Solana, Tron, etc.... and that is how it was for a few years.... everyone jerking eachother off over how great ETH is and how it is the future.... fast-forward a few years, ppl see ETH is an rube-goldberg machine, pumped my VCs and most of its utility/value was just smoke n mirrors.... n now dev focus coming back to BTC..... unfortunately... these mETHeads like to feel like they are "first".... so, now that they are buidling shit on BTC, they falsely claiming firsts... first NFT on bitcoin, first token platform on bitcoin, first DEX.... lol.... never let the truth get in the way of VC funding and a good narrative 😂️️️️️️

Meanwhile.... some of us just kept building on BTC and DOGE and seeing what could be done with these tokens 🙂

i really only got in in late 2016, with ETH getting heated. I got into the ICO craze, etherdelta, etc. Some shameful stuff, but I was young and didn't "get it" fully.

To ordinals credit, it opened my eyes to UTXOs, how elegant they are. Caught up on nakamoto institute readings, powerful movement with deep history. I respect it. As you said tho, never let the truth get in the way of VC funding and a good narrative lmao.

hrm... prolly an issue with the token not being known on the server that the site is running on.... related to me changing the mysql master server from sites.coindaddy.io to services.coindaddy.io..... sites runs most of my websites and is no longer the mysql master.. and it has a hell of a time keeping up with the new mysql master (disk IO I think).... neway, i'll dig into this today.. I dont think your doing anything wrong, think it is a data syncing issue on my end.... will dig into it later today
