Why I like the dex so much is the bids.
You can get some fire deals.
However, if you got the same fire 🔥 deals chatting otc with the person, it’s almost like you’re ripping them off.
But with the dex, you’re not approaching the person and trying to convince them to sell to you, they are the ones who seeked out your bid and pressed the sell button.
Big difference. -
Plus, bids add liquidity to the protocol. So it’s a good thing overall.

When I do OTC trades I usually let them make me the offer. Then I know what they are worth for the person wanting them.
Usualy I accept the offer. :) -

But what is the value right now? For me if you offer me lets say 1k doge for a card, and another one offers me 10k doge for the same card. Am i ripping off the guy that is offering me 10k ?

You know a card has liquidity at 5,000 instantly.
And you offer the guy 750.
Obviously you know the market better than the guy, so that’s a skill in itself and is valuable and took time to learn.
No, I don’t think it’s ripping the guy off, I just don’t do it and use the dex instead to do the same thing.
If the person approaches you, no, you’re never ripping them off. But usually what I say is that’s a stupid deal dude, don’t do that. Haha -
